We support sustainability within the yoga community by providing financial assistance to yoga instructors who want to serve their students with even more skill and care.

It gives a door for opportunity where money could be the lock and bolt holding you hostage where you are. The assistance ignites growth. Grow a teacher and you’ll seed a community.

CURRENT FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE OPPORTUNITIES

CU x SETU 2019

We’re are excited to team up with Setu in 2019 to create a special program to New York based yoga instructors. Thanks to our partner, Here To Be, we will be awarding $10,000 of financial assistance to teachers who are  pursuing advanced and specialized trainings. Our goal is to equip yoga teachers with the tools needed to serve their students with even more skill and care. We know that to be a great teacher, you must be a continual student. Refining and evolving your awareness of the practice honors your students and yourself. Each training opens a new aspect of this for you and us. We want yoga teachers to thrive in their practice and hope to bolster the community by resources that make this work sustainable and generative for all.

We will be selecting recipients based on demonstrated financial need and potential community impact. Our primary focus for impact is in service to people who hold identities (gender, racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, physical abilities, etc.) that are often underrepresented in mainstream yoga.

Financial assistance funds are intended to cover training costs, not transportation or lodging. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated financial need and potential community impact. Our primary focus for impact is in service to people who hold identities that are often underrepresented in mainstream yoga.
