Our weekly, trauma informed classes offer the healing resource of yoga to people across the city of Atlanta. In partnership with MercyCare, we complement behavioral health programming by sharing holistic yoga programs at their clinics in Chamblee and Vine City. We also provide yoga to the women of House of Cherith at City of Refuge and the men of Trinity House.
100% of City of Refuge participants who were polled reported that yoga reduces stress and tension and empowers them to manage their chronic conditions. Approximately 88% of participants agreed that yoga was “very helpful” in maintaining an overall greater sense of wellbeing.
